Exhibit events

Art exhibit events are an investment, both in material to exhibit and in the cost of a booth, and it typically takes a weekend of manning the booth. But in return it means a lot of prospective buyers actually seeing your art while considering spending money on art. I have yet to try one of these, since I am focusing on one venue at a time (first was exhibits in other places, which I will continue as chances appear, second is direct marketing to companies via postcards). So here's notes on what's coming up and what price range to expect:

• Artville August 2007 in Copenhagen. Price for a booth of 3x3m starting at DKK 3520 excluding moms.

• Kunstmesse November 2007 in Ridehuset, Århus (and other places at other times). Price for a booth DKK 200 + 400 /m^2 (minimum 4 m^2).

• Kunst for alle 25-28/1 2007 in Ridehuset, Århus. Price for a 9 m^2 booth is DKK 5400 including moms.

Exhibiting in other places

I have exhibited in various places:

• Lån & Spar bank
• Constantia II
• Statsbiblioteket

Generally, this didn't create any sales except of postcards -- and even that only paid for itself because I sold chunks privately, not through the exhibit as such. So I'm not going to pursue this very actively (as in, make new pictures for this purpose), but if an occasion pops up, I will take it.
